Meet the Founder
Diora Franqui-Marchand
Astraea was created by Diora Franqui-Marchand,
a high school student with a passion for law, advocacy,
and expanding access to opportunity.
Growing up, Diora was closely exposed to the work of nonprofit organizations in her community through her mother, who works in marketing and community engagement.
She saw how many resources already existed
and how difficult they could be to find.
That pattern became clear.
The issue wasn’t a lack of resources.
It was a lack of access.
Astraea was built from that realization
to bring information, support, and opportunities into one place
making them easier to find, understand, and use.
Her goal is simple:
To make sure every young person
has access to what they need to grow, lead, and move forward.
